Warmer Kiwi Homes

If you're comparing heat pump prices, it's worth checking whether you're eligible for the Warmer Kiwi Homes programme first.

Martella Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is an accredited Warmer Kiwi Homes installer serving Marlborough. Eligible homeowners may receive funding towards the cost of a new heat pump, helping make a high-quality system more affordable.

With a Warmer Kiwi Homes Government grant you could get 90% off the cost of ceiling and underfloor insulation and up to 80% off the cost of an installed heat pump, wood burner or pellet burner.

You could be eligible if:

• You own and live in the home, built before 2008
• You (the owner) have a community services card or live in an area identified as low income (visit warmerkiwihomes.govt.nz to check your address)

Additionally, to be eligible for a heater:

• Your home must have ceiling and underfloor insulation
• You don’t have a fixed heater in the main living area of your home
