Warmer Kiwi Homes

With a Warmer Kiwi Homes Government grant you could get 80% off the cost of ceiling and underfloor insulation and up to 80% off the cost of an installed heat pump, wood burner or pellet burner.

You could be eligible if:

• You own and live in the home, built before 2008
• You (the owner) have a community services card or live in an area identified as low income (visit warmerkiwihomes.govt.nz to check your address)

Additionally, to be eligible for a heater:

• Your home must have ceiling and underfloor insulation
• You don’t have a fixed heater in the main living area of your home

Eligibility criteria and conditions apply. Heater grants are capped at $3,000 incl GST.

Marlborough District Council Energy Efficiency Funding Service.

Martella is an approved service provider of this council service for approved home clean heating installation.

The council’s energy efficiency and clean heating loan scheme will be suspended for any new loans from 29 February 2024.
